Zambrano Ortega Contemporary art advisors is a specialized agency dedicated to contemporary art. Through the extensive experience of its founders, we provide private, institutional and corporate collections with integral consulting. Our main objective is the recognition of potential in each acquisition. We take care of reviewing the relevance and historical importance -as well as a fundamental investment value-, within the broad spectrum of art production today. Furthermore, we represent a selected group of international artists with an outstanding career, whom we share our vision with.
Catalina M. Zambrano Vignau (Monterrey N.L, 1985) has a Bachelor of Arts by the Universidad de Monterrey (2011). From 2010 to 2017 she was part of the Andares ABP Development Committee, and from 2013 to 2017 was part of the patronage of the same association. During this time she worked as a leader of various fundraising strategies: first as director of the Art Platform “50 Artistas UN Impulso” (2010-2014), which included benefit exhibitions, auctions and other cultural activities that promote artistic talent, new collecting and children’s approach to art. In 2015 she founded “Archanthropy / Arquitectura con Causa”, an architectural promotion platform, giving a new twist to the operation of traditional philanthropic campaigns. She was at the forefront of this strategy from 2015 – 2017.
She then went on to found Outsighter in January 2018, a now well recognized art advisory and emerging and established art promotion platform on Instagram, which she still runs with her new partner, Julia Contreras. It is since 2019 that she represents ZONA MACO as VIP Ambassador in Northern Mexico. She currently divides her time between Outsighter and Zambrano Ortega Contemporary, both consultancies for art collections, each with different approaches to collecting, either as a patrimonial and investment strategy, or inclined to a design oriented strategy.
